Top three tips from the organisers
- We tried an online PB process to reach younger people – ideas were submitted through short videos and then people voted on-line for the three ideas they wanted to support.
- Have a Celebration Event – make it interactive and fun, bring all the younger people together to view each others videos, announce the successful projects and also to vote on best video, soundtrack and story. 120 young people attended the Celebration Awards Event.
- Work with schools, youth and network groups in the area who have established links and relationships with younger people.
